Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Jaber is a distinguished Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with over three decades of experience in clinical practice, research, and academic leadership. He holds a BDS with honors from the University of Garyunis (Libya), an MSc in Oral Surgery from the University of Bristol (UK), and a PhD from the University of London (UK). He is a Fellow of multiple Royal Colleges, including Edinburgh, England, and Glasgow.
Prof. Jaber has held several senior academic and administrative positions, including Chair of Oral Surgery at Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine and Director of the University Quality Assurance Unit. He currently serves as the Head of Clinical Sciences and Director of Postgraduate Studies at Ajman University’s College of Dentistry.
A prolific researcher, Prof. Jaber has authored and co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications in the fields of oral cancer, maxillofacial trauma, oral health in special needs populations, and dental education. His current research focuses include oral epithelial dysplasia, epidemiology of oral diseases, and dental training outcomes. He also serves as an associate editor and reviewer for several international dental journals.
Prof. Jaber is actively involved in curriculum development, clinical training, and postgraduate supervision. His numerous awards include the Al-Awais Award for Scientific Research (UAE), Best Teacher Award, and a Fellowship by the Academy of Dentistry International (USA).
