Associate Professor in Endodontology & Consultant Endodontist at College of Dentistry, Ajman University, Ajman, UAE (since 2016). Dr Okba qualified from Baghdad University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2003. He joined Newcastle University, UK in 2005 and undertook PhD programme in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry for 4 years. Dr Okba gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK (MFDS RCPS). He completed more clinical training in the field Restorative Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery as Senior House Officer (SHO) in the UK. Later, he joined University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2011 and was appointed as Senior Lecturer & Clinical Fellow in Endodontology until 2015. Dr Okba is a regular speaker of various national and international conferences and events; he has published several scientific abstracts and articles in several international journals in the field of Dentistry. He has over 15 years of academic experience and clinical practice, he is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, British Endodontic Society, Malaysian Endodontic Society, and International Association for Dental Research.
